A b o u t B e n

Ben is a director, writer, photographer, and educator committed to creating work grounded in humor, heart, and human connection.

With experience directing and producing both theater and film, Ben has collaborated with startups and established companies across the U.S. and Ireland. His creative work spans immersive theater, short-form film, and multimedia storytelling, integrating narrative with music, sculpture, and experimental forms through his collaborations with Bubble Theatre ATL and Glass House Collective ATL.

Most recently, Ben directed his first full-length production, Lobby Hero by Kenneth Lonergan, at PushPush Arts in Atlanta. His commitment to new work development in Atlanta over the past two years earned him an Audience Choice Award for For the Record, produced by Authenticity Theater.

Ben holds dual degrees from Muhlenberg College, graduating cum laude with a B.A. in Theatre (Directing) and a B.A. in Media & Communications (Video Production). He also studied internationally at Goldsmiths, University of London.

When he’s not behind the camera or in rehearsal, Ben can be found outdoors photographing the world around him or playing drums with his band, Jimmy John’s Misty.
